About PDF Merger

I built the tool I wanted to use myself.

PDF Merger started with a simple problem I kept facing at work and in everyday tasks: merging a few PDF files should not be complicated.

My story

I'mSourav Roy, an Electronics Engineer. Like many people working with documents, I often needed to merge PDF files for my company, for myself, and even for my colleagues.

The task itself was simple. The frustrating part was finding a tool that would just let me do it.

Again and again, I came across PDF tools that asked me to subscribe, create an account, or even enter my card details before I could complete a simple PDF task. For an emergency task, when I just needed to combine a few documents quickly, this became a real problem.

Eventually, I decided to build a small PDF merging tool for my own use. I wanted something straightforward: select my files, put them in the right order, merge them, and download the result.

While using it, I started talking to other people about the same problem. I realized I wasn't the only one who wanted a simple PDF tool without subscriptions, unnecessary signup steps, or having to upload documents just to merge them.

That's when I decided to publish the tool and make it available to everyone.

The idea

PDF tools should not make simple tasks complicated.

The goal behind PDF Merger is simple: give people a useful PDF tool without unnecessary friction.

No unnecessary signup

Open the tool and get started without creating an account just to merge your PDFs.

No subscription barrier

A simple PDF task should not require signing up for a subscription before you can finish it.

Browser-based workflow
